Club Overview
Cohasset Rotary meets every Monday evening at Lightkeepers Cottage. Our club works on Service Projects one meeting a month. We have a business meeting once a month and invite speakers to talk about their business, group or other interests. Description
All Cohasset Rotarians help with our major fundraiser, Cohasset Road-Race-by-the-Sea. Every year we proudly support our community thru the senior center at Willcutt Commons; local students, the Scouts and college scholarships - averaging $15,000 annually (since 1941!). We support the local Appalachia Service project, and are part of international medical and peace mission projects such as eradicating Polio worldwide, clean water and mission trips.General Information-
OBJECT OF ROTARY
1. Always look at the development of new acquaintances as an opportunity of service.
2. As Rotarians we hold high ethical standards in business, recognizing that ALL occupations are useful and worthy; and know that through each Rotarians’ occupation they each have an opportunity to serve.
3. We hold ourselves to the highest standards not only in business but also in our personal and community life.
4. Fellowship is a tool for peace & goodwill.
